About Us and the Ranch
We are a 26 1/2 acre ranch located north of Longview in East Texas. We are close to Louisiana , Arkansas and OK as well as Dallas, Texas. We are a small to medium sized miniature horse ranch. We raise , show and sell healthy miniature horses as well as American Shetlands. And an occasional miniature donkey or miniature mule. We work very closely with our vet to assure the healthiest animals possible.
We are striving to produce horses with excellent conformation for the show ring. As well as good temperament and perfect health. Not all of our stallions and mares are show quality , which leaves room for the pet market as well. We hope to be able to place horses in loving homes where they can become great lawnmowers and even better members of the family. We plan to offer horses in all price ranges so that everyone can enjoy allowing one of these wonderful creations of God into their hearts. We also plan to be available to work with new horse owners to help them understand how to properly care for their miniature horse.
Our miniature horses come from the best bloodlines available with some very nice out-crosses to breed with them. We have a Buckeroo son , Buckeroo Bonanza , who is a gorgeous stallion as well as a son of Buck Echo named Boone's Little Buck Echo. We also have a double bred Buckeroo bloodline creamello. We have an original Bond stud named Patches who is a nice black pinto. Also JTR's Loud N Clear ,a leopard appaloosa stallion. And let's not forget Dallas O' Day who is by Dipper's Duffy. Dallas O' Day's half brother , Sid's Husker , sold for $26,000 topping the National Sale of 2002. He is also a half brother to Sid's Rebel, the leading money earning sire of the AMHA Futurity, whose get have earned almost $60,000. We have a Rowdy relative who will grow up to be one of our herd sires we hope and who may just show up in the show ring this year. We will see.
Our mares speak for themselves as well. Among them are Susie Buckeroo and Candy Cane who is an Egyptian King daughter who sold for $40,000 in her "hay day". We also have other mares with Bond , Dell Tera , Sligo , Toyhorse , Komoko and Buckeroo blood lines etc. One of our mares is in foal to BTU for 2003.Another mare is a BTU daughter. Needless to say , we are very excited to be involved in our new horse venture and can not wait to see what we will be able to produce with all of these wonderful horses.
We also plan for a small bed and breakfast with private cabins. We will be offering our 3 story barn for church groups , such as retreats , and also small family reunions and small wedding parties. We plan for an outdoor wedding area. And a lovely Honeymoon cabin with all the romantic trimmings. Unfortunately we are not set up for birthday parties on the ranch at this time. And the B&B will be in the future , possibly in 2004.
We will be living in our barn for a while until we can get our house built. It has a downstairs apartment as well as two living quarters upstairs. We have separate shelter for our horses as well as a very near future foaling barn with halter alerts and monitors.
At the moment we have no miniature cows or sheep nor any exotic fowl other than our parrots. But that is coming very soon as well as our pair of Australian Shepherds and possible Livestock Guardian Dog.
My husband , Terry, has built the barn himself with a little help from various people. Particularly some wonderful new neighbors of ours. As well as some pretty cool kids we know.

Our horses are available to visit nursing homes and orphanages or just about any other organization. Visits to nursing homes and orphanages and any church group are without charge. We are also up for parades and just about any horse safe activity! You might even talk one of our parrots into coming for a visit! Most of the dogs are ALWAYS happy to go somewhere and be petted!!
